About the Program

A Disciplined, Asset-Backed Approach

TCO Assets works with capital partners experienced in private lending, asset-based finance, or trade finance who are interested in short-term, collateral-backed transaction structures.

Opportunities are asset-backed — including receivables, purchase orders, and letters of credit — rather than real estate. Each transaction is reviewed individually and structured to match the specific collateral and counterparty involved.

We approach these relationships with discretion and selectivity. The information on this page is intended for sophisticated capital partners evaluating short-term, asset-backed trade finance structures.

How a Transaction Is Structured

The following is an illustrative, generic walkthrough of how a short-term, asset-backed trade finance transaction can be structured. Names, entities, and figures are placeholder examples only.

Repayment

Investor repaid — net ~30 days (illustrative)

  1. 1A confirmed invoice or purchase order is already in place from the seller — this is the starting point, not outbound outreach.
  2. 2TCO Assets evaluates the opportunity: the counterparty, the goods, the shipment path, and the source of repayment.
  3. 3If the opportunity fits, TCO Assets matches it with a capital partner who funds the invoice.
  4. 4The funding is used to manufacture the goods; the seller then completes and ships the order (point-of-sale shipping).
  5. 5Repayment is routed to the investor from the buyer's payment — for example, via an assignment of proceeds, escrow, or lockbox — reducing reliance on any single party at settlement.
  6. 6The investor is repaid on a short, defined timeline — net ~30 days as an illustrative example, though tenor varies by transaction.
